Excavation & Earthworks
We undertake bulk excavation, cut and fill operations, and detailed excavation for foundations, basements, and service trenches on projects of all scales. Our plant fleet includes tracked excavators from 1.5 to 50 tonnes, alongside dumpers, compactors, and specialist attachments. We carry out geo-technical assessments and manage spoil disposal in accordance with waste legislation.

Paving & Hardscaping
Our paving teams lay high-quality driveways, car parks, pedestrian areas, and hard landscaping features for residential and commercial clients. We work with block paving, tarmac, resin-bound gravel, natural stone setts, and concrete flags, ensuring correct falls, drainage provision, and a durable finish that will withstand heavy traffic and UK weather conditions.

Landscaping Preparation
We prepare sites for soft landscaping contractors by carrying out topsoil stripping and stockpiling, subsoil treatment, land drainage installation, and final grading. We can also undertake tree-root protection works, install irrigation sleeves, and build retaining structures including timber, steel, and concrete block retaining walls to accommodate level changes.

Drainage & Utilities
Meridian installs complete below-ground drainage and utility networks for housing developments, commercial schemes, and infrastructure projects. We lay foul and surface water sewers, install inspection chambers and manholes, and connect to public sewer via Section 104 or Section 185 agreements. We also install gas, water, and electricity distribution infrastructure in coordination with the relevant statutory authorities.
